Dearly Beloved…

Sometimes we need to say Goodbye to bits of ourselves that no longer serve our delicious and luxurious Self. 

And October is the perfect time to say “Farewell, Old You!”

Dearly Beloved was influenced and created in the shadow of the ancient Celtic festival of remembrance, Samhain. The Celts celebrated their dead by gathering for feasts and bonfires, honoring death and rebirth, and welcoming spirits, ghosts, and fairies to join us on our mortal plane. How awesome is that? 

So, we decided to expand on the ancient celebration and create an evening to gather together for a unique ceremony of honoring and releasing the Old You with love and forgiveness. 

The Itinerary: 

  • Arrive and Hello over a glass of wine or mocktail
  • Sit and Write – Guided Prompts Available
  • Share and Tell (if you want)
  • Stamp and Burn Ceremony
  • Onward to Your New Self

After you have written a letter to Your Old Dead Self, or Drawn a Picture of Who You Once Were, choose to burn it in our Fire Ceremony or seal it in an envelope and hand it over. We’ll put a stamp on it and mail it back to you at some point in the future – when the time feels right.
