May’s Full Flower Moon Supper
- Are you looking for your “tribe?”
- Are you energetically connected, but not sure what to do with everything you instinctively know and feel?
- Are you a happy solo practitioner, but would enjoy the company of other like-minded women?
The Full Moon Supper has been percolating in the cauldron of my mind for years. The thought of bringing women together in unified magick under the full moon makes my heart soar. And there is no denying the power of women with shared intentions.
May’s Full Flower Moon was chosen as the “kick-off” for a few reasons, but mostly because Intuition said so.
May’s Full Moon
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
~ William Shakespeare
The Full Flower Moon in May is known by many names. The Apache and Lakota peoples refer to May’s Full Moon as the Green Leaves Moon. And the Algonquin appropriately named it the Corn Planting Moon.
Centuries ago, the May Full Moon brought heightened fertility and new births. For some western cultures, the May Full Moon was the Mother’s Moon. A time when all creatures’ bellies were full of their mother’s milk and hearts warm with their mother’s love.
In the East, May’s Full Moon is a day of celebration; Buddha Day, when Buddhists remember the birth and passing of the Buddha. They rejoice in Buddha’s enlightenment by being of service to those in need.
As for the Pagans, well, we all know Pagans love a good reason to party with fire. Fire is synonymous with passion, desire, and rebirth. The Full Flower Moon ignited Pagan fire rituals, welcoming in the bright colors and do-overs of the season; an opportunity to nurture and grow what has been manifesting since Ostara.
It must be obvious now why May’s Full Moon spoke so clearly to us, wanting to be the launch of our celebration. It offers the perfect lunar energy for Spell Caster’s First Full Moon Supper.

Bon Appétit and Blessed Be!
