Georgetown is booming. According to the US Census Bureau, it is the fastest-growing city in the nation, with the population increasing by more than 10% in one year. The once sleepy town just 30 miles north of Austin is now 75,000 strong and making room for more.
The charming downtown boasts the Most Beautiful Square in Texas. The architecture offers an authentic flavor of Central Texas settlers with German and Slavic influences. And San Gabriel Park is a scenic oasis on the border of downtown.
